Dr. Camilla Petersen
ND, MD, FAAFP · Founder / OwnerA double-boarded Naturopathic Physician and Family Medicine Doctor, Dr. Petersen brings over 20 years of clinical experience spanning hospitalist medicine, midwifery, remote healthcare, and concierge practice to VALIA Health in Houston, Texas.
Her clinical philosophy is built on a foundational conviction: chronic disease is not inevitable. Through advanced diagnostic technology, carbohydrate-restricted nutritional strategies, and an understanding of evolutionary biochemistry, Dr. Petersen helps patients identify and correct the metabolic dysfunction that underlies cardiovascular disease, cancer risk, neurodegeneration, and accelerated aging, often years before symptoms emerge.
Prior to founding VALIA Health, Dr. Petersen established and operated Petersen Concierge Medical in Missoula, Montana, where she developed the diagnostic methodology and patient-centered care model that VALIA now brings to Houston’s Galleria district.
Beyond the clinic, she is a devoted mother, working dog trainer, and aspiring regenerative farmer, passionate about the connection between soil health, food systems, and human vitality.
